Pakistan Moves to 4th Position in ICC Test Ranking
International Cricket Council recently announced the new rankings of individual players and teams regarding all the formats that are Tests, ODI’s and T20’s respectively. Pakistan has suffered a slump when it comes to their ODI ranking but has managed to secure a good position in the Test rankings.
Test Rankings (Teams, Bowlers and Batsmen)
South Africa leads the lot with 124 points in 31 matches. Australia and England are in the second and third spot with 118 and 104 points respectively. Pakistan could jump up into the third position after the Bangladesh series.
They sit in the fourth spot with 103 points after 30 matches. New-Zealand completes the top-5 with 99 points from 37 matches. India slips to seventh with 95 points. The rankings are as follows:-

In the race for the best Test batsmen Kumar Sangakkara leads the line with 909 points. South African duo AB De Villiers and Hashim Amla are set at second and third spot with 908 and 891 points respectively. Pakistan’s Younus Khan features in the top 10 with 818 points in the eighth spot.
Dale Steyn (South Africa), Ryan Harris (Australia) and Rangana Herath (Sri Lanka) are the top 3 bowlers in test match cricket.
ODI Rankings (Teams, Bowlers and Batsmen)
Australia lead the pack in the top spot in the ODI rankings with 122 points, India and South Africa follow with 116 and 112 points. Pakistan is in the seventh position with 95 points. The rankings are as follows:-

Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal is at the third-spot in the rankings with 718 points. Mitchell Starc (783 points) leads the line with Imran Tahir (734 points) in the runners-up position.
AB De Villiers, Kumar Sangakkara and Hashim take the top 3 positions in the ODI batsmen list.
T20 Rankings (Teams, Bowlers and Batsmen)
Pakistan Cricket Team sits firmly in the third-spot with 120 points. Sri Lanka top the rankings with 131 points and India is placed second on the points table with 126. The rankings are as follows:

India’s Virat Kholi is the top T20 batsman with 897 points. Aaron Finch of Australia (870 points) and England’s Alex Hales (866 points) are in the second and third spot in the rankings.
