What Are Mummy Breakfasts And Where Should One Go For Them?
Karachiites are known for lateness. Our weddings start when they should be ending, bazaars start operating at 1 p.m., and did you call someone for dinner at 8? Well, nobody’s showing up before 9.30.
On the other hand, busy moms find themselves with a little window of alone time after the early morning school drop-off. It’s the best time to run errands or take time out for themselves.
However, it’s great to see that many restaurants have taken notice of this. Many eateries now have early opening hours for customers who would like to enjoy a delicious breakfast with their friends before getting back to the hard knock life.
Also, here’s what happens to your body when you skip breakfast. More reason to go!
We have lovingly picked up the term ‘mummy breakfast’ as it is often used in such situations. These breakfasts aren’t simply for the purpose of social activity, but they often serve as a fantastic opportunity for one to get acquainted with their child’s social circle. It promotes feelings of community, a bond among parents and a friendly environment to discuss parenting challenges and solutions.
On a personal note, I have felt that having a no-kid breakfast with other parents allows me the space to voice concerns and get a whole support system to lift me up with words of motivation.
