Shakshuka- Egg Recipe

  • 3-4 Eggs
  • 1 finely chopped Capsicum
  • 1 finely chopped Onion
  • Garlic paste
  • 2 finely chopped Tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • ¼ tsp Cumin powder
  • A pinch of Salt & Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/3 tsp Grounded black pepper
  • 3 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Step by Step guide to make this recipe:

Heat a pan in moderate flame. Add 2 tbsp oil, chopped onions, garlic, capsicum, chopped tomatoes, and the tomato puree. Mix well and cook until the veggies become mushy. Then add cumin powder, salt, pepper, chili powder, and sugar. Make that paste is thick but not too thick.

Now crack eggs and pour them on top of the paste, make sure that the yolks don’t break. Cover the pan and let the egg and paste cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Garnish the shakshuka with some coriander and sprinkle some salt and paper on top of it.

Your delicious and healthy sehri is ready to serve with bread slices or paratha.

 

Anday Chanay – Recipe

  • 1 ½ cup Chickpeas
  • Chicken Stock
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • Water as required
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1 cup Onion Paste
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Paste
  • 1 & ½ tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Blended Masoor Daal 1 cup
  • 1 & ½ tsp Coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
  • 5 Boiled Eggs
  • Chopped fresh coriander

Step by Step guide to make this recipe:

In a pot add few cups of water as required and then add chickpeas, salt, black pepper powder. Cover the pot and cook the ingredients for 30 minutes. On a pan add oil, onion, tomato paste, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander seeds, salt, nutmeg powder, mace powder, cumin powder, fennel seeds, mix well & cook on low flame. Then add blended masoor daal and chickpeas, mix it well with the masalas and cook for 5 minutes.

Add chicken stock as per requirement, 2 cups of water, cover the pot, and cook on low flame for 15 minutes. Add red chili powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves, mix well, and cook for 5 minutes. Add boiled eggs and let them simmer on low flame for 4-5 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander. Anda Chanay Recipe is ready to serve with paratha or bread.

Qeema Paratha recipe

  • 1/2 kg Beef mince
  • Garlic paste
  • 3 green chilies
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt
  • 2-3 tbsp Green coriander
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3-4 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • Water as required

Step by Step guide to make this recipe:

Chop all the ingredients such as mince, garlic, green chilies, cumin, red chili powder, salt, coriander, garam masala, and chili flakes to make the filling for the paratha. Now to make the dough, take a bowl add flour, ghee, wheat flour, salt, water and mix well. Knead the dough and divide the dough into four parts, roll it into a ball and brush it with ghee.

Fill each ball with the mince filling and roll it to make paratha and then place it on top of the heated pan. Cook each side until golden brown. Serve your delicious paratha with raita and tea.
