SA Passes Aids Control & Protection Bill

Sindh Assembly on Friday passed Aids Control & Protection Bill unanimously. No single vote was come out in opposition. According to the source, Sindh Assembly approved HIV and Aids Control & Treatment bill 2013 after which Sindh Aids Commission will be constituted. The purpose of the bill is to protect HIV or Aids patients from distinctive maltreatment by legal protection. After The 18th amendment all official health matters authorities has been transferred to provinces. For the implementation and action according to provide better health system respective provincial health departments need to proper legalization. After bill approval Sindh Assembly will constitute Sindh Aids Commission within next fifteen days. The commission will take up controlling HIV Aids, protection and treatment matters.
