Overview

Malignant neoplasm refers to cancer. Cancer can influence any part of the body. Some of the common digestive organ cancers are discussed in this article.

Causes

As with all cancers, the exact cause is not known. There is evidence however, that links some of the following factors to the development of digestive organ cancers:

  • PET scan
  • Exploratory surgery

Treatment

The treatment of cancer depends on its severity and progress. The following treatment options are available for cancer treatment:

  • Surgical resection of the cancer tissue
