This spicy scrambled eggs recipe is an easy-to-make savory dish, especially for those who do not want to put a lot of effort to cook a meal for sehri! You can cook this recipe literally within 15 minutes and serve it with paratha, toasted bread, or buns!
Ingredients required making Khageena:
- 2 eggs
- 1 chopped tomato
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 dry red chili
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 1 green chili
- Salt and pepper as required
- Chopped coriander
Method
Step 1
As this recipe is filled with many onions that give it that texture in every bite, you first need to start by adding chopped onions in a pan with a little vegetable oil in it and cook until golden brown.
Step 2
Once your onions turn brown, you will then add green chilies, salt, pepper, turmeric, and red chili. Let the spices cook in the oil and give it an aroma!
Step 3
Add finely chopped tomatoes and let them cook for another two minutes. Tomatoes will give this recipe a slightly sour and sweet taste. Once your tomatoes are in a paste form, you will then add your egg batter and pour in the chopped coriander.
Step 4
Slowly cook it for a minute or two or until the eggs look cooked.
