7 children have died in one single day today due to malnutrition, in Tharparkar, after which the death toll of this month has gone up to 18 and the total of deaths is 357
The deaths of children have once again started after a gap of few days. This time, seven families have been affected by Thar’s food shortage. The basic cause of all these deaths have been the lack of good facility in the hospitals. Two children have died in Mithi Civil Hospital, where as one young girl passed away in Nagarparkar and one in Kluyy. In addition, three more children, who were referred in critical condition from Mithi Civil Hospital to Haiderabad, lost their lives. The death toll of children has risen up to 357.
