Karachi’s third largest government hospital, Abbasi Shaheed, is surrounded by garbage and stagnant sewage water. This has made it very difficult for patients and personnel to access the hospital, and has also heightened fears of an increase in diseases. According to the management, funds are short at the moment which is why cleanliness of the area has been delayed. However, they are working to ensure that the problem is resolved as soon as possible.
