An additional 25 people have been diagnosed with dengue raising the cumulative total of those affected to 480. The official figures from the province reveal the following: 51 cases in Lahore, 397 in Rawalpindi, 35 in Sheikhupura. Cases have also emerged in Gujranwala in the area of Shaheen Abad. According to the department of health, it is expected that the number of cases will increase in the winter months. They have cautioned people to take extra precautions to prevent the spread of dengue fever.
