The total number of IDPS people displaced from North Waziristan has been recorded at nine lakh twenty-six thousand nine-hundred and forty. The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has distributed aid to about 7000 families. Government officials peg the number of families that have received aid to approximately twenty-nine thousand eight hundred. The total amount of monetary aid that has been distributed thus far is about thirty-five million eighty-two lakh and thirty-six thousand rupees. Under the scheme introduced by the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, each family receives Rs. 3000 to cover their rent and another Rs. 5000 for the month of Ramadan.
