Malnutrition is causing uncontrollable deaths in Tharparker. 5 more children have died of hunger and lack of food in the past 91 days. This has raised the death toll to a total of 284 till date. Over all, the amount of people suffering from malnutrition has gone up to 685. 50 children have been fighting the battle of life and death in the hospitals in Islam Koth-Meethi. 30 have been treated in Nagar Parkar, the remaining have been treated elsewhere.
