Widespread consumption of contaminated water has lead to a serious outbreak of gastroenteritis which has caused the death of one woman and left at least 22 others in critical condition. The deceased has been identified as Gul Bakht, while 6 children and 7 women are among the 22 patients under treatment for gastroenteritis. The site of the outbreak has been isolated to a lake in Kot Nobat Khan Jafrani. Medical teams have been dispatched to the affected areas to contain the spread of the outbreak. Those admitted to the trauma centers have been administered emergency medical care and are now out of danger, according to the district health officer
