Last week, a 45 year old resident from Amankot was diagnosed with dengue , raising the total count to 19. Mahmood Aslam, Deputy Commissioner Swat, visited the area and advised residents to take preventative measures to combat the spread of dengue. He also held a meeting with the administration and dengue teams stationed at Mingora regarding the commencement of a dengue prevention campaign. It was decided that three high risk areas in Mingora would be covered through the campaign.
