Children Are The Future and Guarantee of a Better Pakistan

The Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul-Ebad, has asked the officials of the Department of Health to bring all sources to use, with the help of WHO, to fight diseases such as Polio to make a better Pakistan.

While in a meeting in the Governor house with the delegation of WHO led by Dr. Seth Berkley accompanied by UNICEF Chief of Health in Pakistan, Dr. Tania Guldnr, WHO Director Dr. Jean-Marie Oak and other officials,  the Governor of Sindh said that children are the assets of Pakistan and no compromise could be accepted with their vaccinations. He said that in the previous few years, ignorance had been shown by officials which had led to an increase in diseases like Polio and had further destroyed the image of Pakistan. He instructed the Department of Health to take emergency actions and to bring awareness among the public.
