Two new cases have come up in India. After symptoms of Polio in these two children, investigation has been started.
The Department of Health of India has informed the media that the state is investigating on two new cases with symptoms of Polio. According to the Chief Medical Officer of Derbhenga district, two children of the same village, both 2 years of age, had high fever and became so weak that they could not walk. They had been isolated from others and their test samples have been forwarded to see if they had Polio. This would be a great shock for India, if Polio is detected in the children, because the World Health Organization (WHO) had already announced India as a Polio free state.
