Findings from an upcoming issue of CJASN showed that chronic pain is common in individuals with kidney disease and sometimes with improper use of pain medications.
According to Dr. Fink, there was a link between pain and patients’ safety in chronic kidney disorder.
In an editorial, Sara Davidon, explained patients’ safety as understanding the pain medication and its misuse. She said that more exploration and work was urgently needed to guide clinical decisions.
