A press conference was organized to discuss the topic of mother and child well-being. The importance of vaccinations was especially emphasized. It was highlighted that lady health workers and community midwives should ensure that all children up till the age of 2 years should receive preventative injections, all children between the ages of 2 to 5 years should receive medication for stomach infections, and pregnant women should also be given their required injections. It was also emphasized that health education sessions should be held daily to spread awareness about common illnesses and how to prevent them. We hope to see some positive actions moving forward.
