1st National Consultation on Breast Cancer by Pink Ribbon in Collaboration with Ministry of Science & Technology.
Pink Ribbon is an initiative of Women Empowerment Group, which is a self-sustained, non-funded campaign supported via public contributions. The workers of the group are mostly volunteers who aim to promote breast cancer awareness among Pakistani women and men alike. Breast cancer is a rising problem among women all over the world. The only way it can be prevented is by taking protective measures against it.
In addition to raising awareness among the masses, Pink Ribbon also aims to set up Pakistan’s 1st Breast Cancer hospital with state of the art, new and improved technology. Plus, it will also serve as a training institute, counselling service provider, and research center. This is bound to serve society in a positive way and improve their life quality.
