With winter comes the season of barbecues and family get togethers. Today I will share with you guys a recipe for a cold Russian salad.
This tangy, sweet and chilled salad counter balances the hot and spicy barbecue and is completely hassle free and quick to make. Hope you all enjoy.
Potatoes – 4 (boiled and diced)
Cucumbers – 3 (diced)
Chick peas – 1 can
Carrots – 4 (diced)
Chicken – 1 cup (boiled and shredded)
Apples – 4 (diced)
Cream – 1 packet
Pineapple juice – 3 tbsp
Salt and pepper – According to taste
1) Mix the apples, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes and chick peas together
2) In a separate bowl, mix together the cream and chicken. Add pineapple juice salt and pepper to this mix and vary the quantity according to taste
3) Now mix the cream chicken mixture with the vegetables and stir to spread the cream evenly.
4) Refrigerate the salad until serving time.
