3 Easy and Delicious Snack Recipes
Main courses and desserts are easier to decide as compare to snacks. Since ages I have been eating bakery items in majority of high tea gatherings, and unfortunately my mother has been serving same to the guests. Being a foodie I have always hated these high teas because of monotonous food servings.
I really think we need to bring some creativity in our snacks, and for that you really don’t need to spend large amount of money. In a reasonable budget, we can easily create some different and mouth watering snacks. We really need a break from the traditional snacks by getting our hands on some non-traditional ones. Ah! It sounds so relaxing.
I have some really easy snack recipes that will force your guests to not leave your place without praising you. These are simple, easy to make but trust me their smell will make you drool.
Cheesy Bread Roll
Ingredients:
- Large bread slices (3-4)
- Boneless chicken (2-3 small pieces)
- Capsicum (1 small)
- Tomato puree (2 tb)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
- White pepper
- Red chili flakes
- Eggs
- Lays/wavy (1 medium pack)
- Cheese
Procedure:
- In a pan cook chicken by adding salt, black/white pepper and red chili flakes.
- Take it out in a plate once it is cooked.
- Cut out the dark brown part of bread and press the bread slowly and gently.
- Put some tomato puree on the bread and spread it evenly.
- Now put some small chicken pieces, after that add a lot of cheese.
- Now gently and carefully fold the bread in the form of rolls.
- Dip bread roll first in the egg and cover it with crushed lays or wavy.
- Fry the roll in a one table of spoon of oil from all sides.
- Now enjoy your cheesy bread rolls with ketchup or garlic dip.
Minced Chicken Potato Balls
Ingredients:
- Minced chicken (1/2 kg)
- Boiled potato (2 medium size)
- Cheese
- Salt
- Chili flakes
- Black pepper
- White pepper
- Bread crumbs
- Parsley
- Green chili
- Milk
Procedure:
- In a bowl add cooked minced chicken, boil potato and mix them well.
- Now add all the mentioned spices and mix it properly (as per your taste).
- Add finely cut parsley.
- Make small balls from mixture and add cheese in the middle.
- Dip these balls in milk and cover them with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry balls.
- Enjoy these balls with either ketchup or chutney of your choice.
Chinese Chicken Salad
Ingredients:
- Noodles (1 pack boiled)
- Boiled chicken (2-3 pieces)
- Cabbage (1 small bowl)
- Carrot (Julian cut 1 bowl)
- Peas (1/2 small bowl boiled)
- Tomato (1 small size)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- White pepper
- Chili flakes
- Soya sauce
- Vinegar
Procedure:
- In a bowl add boiled noodles, shredded chicken, cabbage, carrot, peas and tomato.
- Add all the spices. You can add spices of your choice as well.
- Mix all the ingredients properly.
- Enjoy a fresh Chinese chicken salad.
