During Ramadan, one should never forget about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and what’s better than including Palak Phulka in your meal. It is an easy and delicious sehri recipe that will is not only healthy but will add a spicy touch to your meal.

Follow these easy step-by-step procedures.

Step 1:

In a pan add water with a pinch of salt, when water starts simmering add spinach and baking soda in it. Boil the spinach for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Use a strainer to strain the spinach and immediately put it in chilled water for a few minutes.

Step 3

Strain the spinach from the chilled water, grind it well to make a puree-like consistency. Set aside.

Step 4

In a bowl add flour, oil, ginger, garlic, green chili paste, salt, and spinach puree. Knead the dough and set it aside for one hour.

Step 5

Make small size balls from dough to make roti (according to your preference);

Step 6

Heat a pan and cook the roti on medium-low flame, flip and cook from both sides. Brush desi ghee on warm Palak Phulka and enjoy.

You can make raita by add yogurt in a bowl, salt, black pepper, cumin seeds, green chilies, chili flakes, coriander, and lemon juice.
