HONEY MOISTURE
Beat an egg yolk with any of the oils mentioned above. Pour in one teaspoon of honey and vinegar, each. Apply to damaged hair, use cover with plastic and keep it on for 30 minutes before shampooing and rinsing.
Tip: Mix more as per your hair length.
Result: Adds gloss, bounce and moisture to your hair
SHINE FUSION
Since we love to harm our hair with chemicals and straighten it all the time, we can always treat it back to glowing finesse by using a mixture of with two eggs mixed with olive oil. Blend the mixture well and apply it for 20 to 25 minutes. Rinse off well.
Tip: Put on a shower cap whenever you apply a hair mask, to trap the moisture for better hydration.
Result: Makes the hair thoroughly conditioned and shiny.
GLOWMIX
This is also a mild treatment for damaged hair. Whip one whole egg until it’s frothy, then add in half cup plain, whole yogurt and mix well. Apply it to your hair evenly, leave on for 10 minutes, and then rinse well with cool water. You won’t need to shampoo unless you’re due for it anyway.
Precaution: Hot water is not advisable to wash off the hair mask with egg, for it would make egg tough to rinse from the hair. Warm water somewhat cooks and hardens the egg, making it harder to rinse off.
