Deputy Commissioner Sohbatpur, Mohammad Aslam Raisani, called an emergency meeting taking a notice of the slaughtering and sale of donkey meat.
As per details, on 12 February, 2015, a case of unknown people slaughtering and selling donkey meat was brought to the Deputy Commissioner, on which he called an emergency meeting. In the meeting, both the municipal committee and the doctors refused to take responsibility showing detachment from the incident. It was decided in the meeting that strict actions would be taken against the people involved in the case.
