Saeed Ajmal eager to make a comeback


Saeed Ajmal eager to make a comeback at international level as he looks to bowl once again in the National T20 Championship, which began on Tuesday.

To increase his chances of getting back in the Pakistan cricket team, veteran off-spinner Ajmal will likely be putting on a good performance.

Speaking to a private news channel, he said,

“I’m ready to take on the challenge of getting back and regaining my place in the Pakistan team. I feel confident that I’ll perform well in the domestic format and make a comeback for my country and will prove my critics wrong”

He also added that,

“It will be a great feeling to represent Pakistan once again at the international stage, as playing international cricket is the main goal for any cricketer.”

With his last match for Pakistan against Bangladesh on 24th April 2015, Ajmal hasn’t been featured in any of the formats.

Saeed Ajmal, eager to make a comeback, has bagged around 300+ wickets in his career, will be a great addition prior to the T20 World Cup 2016. Not only will he provide stability with his bowling skills, but his experience will also play a key role in guiding new players.
