Risk of Dengue Outbreak Reduces, as February Ends
The risk of dengue outbreak has reduced after the end of February. Medical experts have said that citizens must take care in case of rain.
According to the estimation of the Department of Health, around 71 cases have been reported in the province, in the month of January. The Department of Health has established a dengue preventive cell, which would be led by Dr. Shakeel Malik, whereas smartphones would soon be used to collect data of dengue cases. New employees have been recruited on 9 different posts of the anti-dengue program. According to the medical experts, the maximum dengue cases were recorded during November and December of 2014. By February the cases start to reduce, but the rain in recent days may act as a factor of prolonging the period, therefore citizens but still take care.
