A 3 day anti-polio campaign has been launched in different areas of Baluchistan including Quetta, Pasheen, Qila Saif-Ullah, Zhob, Musa Khel, Naseer Abad, and hub district in Lasbela. More than 2 lakh children will be vaccinated during this time period. The chief secretary, Saif Ullah Chattha, stated in his address that strict action would be taken against those workers who did not fulfill their responsibilities efficiently. It was also decided that each area’s district health officers would be monitoring and evaluating the proceedings of the anti-polio campaign. This strictness will definitely yield positive results in terms of eradication of the disease.
