Mother’s Voice is a Brain Boost for a Child in the Womb
Babies may get a brain boost in the womb when they hear the voices and heartbeats of their mothers, a new study suggests.
The study focuses on how premature babies who spend time in incubators instead of mother’s womb suffer more hearing and language problems; researchers think of it as a time when premature children are isolated in incubators for few weeks compared to natural environment of mother’s womb. The researchers emphasize mothers to interact and talk to such babies in premature nurseries and hospitals.
