Malala Yousufzai Awarded The Nobel Peace Prize

Malala Yousufzai is the second Pakistani, after Dr. Abdul-Salam, to have been awarded the Nobel Prize. This joint award was shared by India’s Kailash Sathyarti and the accompanying prize money will also be divided between the two winners.

According to the committee, Malala and Kailash’s efforts to further the cause of rights for children around the world earned them the award of Nobel Peace Prize. Chief Minister Nawaz Sharif congratulated Malala on her accomplishment.
