Abdul Sattar, a patient visiting Civil Hospital Karachi’s O.P.D, attacked the O.T. Technician Dr. Mansoor Ahmad, with a dagger. According to plastic surgeon Dr. Asad, the attack took place while Dr. Mansoor was examining the patient. The patient lost his temper and attacked Dr. Mansoor, fatally wounding his neck. Fortunately, the team of doctors at Civil Hospital responded with speed and the victim was immediately taken for an emergency surgery that lasted for 3-4 hours. After the surgery the doctors confirmed that Dr. Mansoor was out of danger. The doctors declared that the attacker should be arrested immediately.
