There is an association between road traffic noise and the risk of obesity among people who are particularly sensitive to noise, according to a study from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
Many researches have been done earlier to study health and noise pollution, such as noise pollution and blood pressure or health and aircraft noise pollution. This specific research focuses on how road traffic noise pollution leads to Obesity and other major diseases. The research showed a greater association in females compared to male. It must be kept in mind that obesity or being overweight leads to cardiovascular diseases.
