A 2 day Polio Eradication Campaign Starts in Charsadda – Motorcycle Riding Banned
In the district of Charsadda, a two day polio eradication campaign has begun from today. Whereas, carrying weapons and motorcycle riding is banned, for the duration. In three towns of the district, around 246,900 children up to the age of 5 would be vaccinated today, for which 651 teams have been dispatched. 145 supervisors would be monitoring the teams, while 1300 policemen are on security detail to make the campaign successful. During the campaign, the movement of unregistered Afghans have been restrained. The Shouqat town has been marked as the most sensitive area for Polio eradication. This polio eradication campaign will be a positive step.
