Our hands and feet are usually the most ignored parts of our body. Mostly, we opt for treatments for our face and hair but hands and feet usually get little extra privilege.
Irrespective of how we treat them, hands and feet are very important parts of our body. They say that the beauty of a woman is recognized by her feet and that hands are usually the only part of our body which touches our faces the most. So one can understand why taking care of these body parts is important.
Alongside this, if you have maintained hands and feet, it would show how well-groomed you are as an individual.
When it comes to taking care of yourself, one immediately thinks of expensive treatments and unaffordable lotions, creams and moisturizers. But to be honest, you can do your best manicure and pedicure with easily available things at home!
For manicure and pedicure you will need the following:
- Two buckets; one round shape for the hands and other for your feet.
- Vaseline (gel)
- Two pairs of socks
- Four small paper bags
- A nail clipper
- Turmeric (haldi)
Fill both the buckets with lukewarm water and add some shampoo and salt in it. Wash your hands and feet properly and keep your hands and feet in the buckets for 10 minutes. Take your hands out of the water and then rub lemon and honey on your hands. Rub them as gently as possible and again put your hands in water. Now rub the lemon and honey at your feet and keep your feet back in the water.
Now take out your hands and gently rub the mixture of milk and haldi on your hands; let it dry. Do the same thing with your feet. When your hands and feet get dry, keep them in water again for 10 minutes. After that, take both hands and feet out and throw the water.
With the help of a nail clipper, take out dirt and extra skin. Gently massage your hands and feet with Vaseline. After massage, cover your hands and feet with plastic bag and wear socks on it. Leave your hands and feet covered for a night.
In the morning, you will be amazed to see the results.
