Chicken Quesadillas Recipe

This incredibly easy Chicken Quesadilla recipe is everyone’s favorite! And why not, they are cheesy, filled with homemade salsa sauce, and chicken that makes the recipe irresistible, and oh so delicious!

How about you ditch the regular Ramadan recipes for a change and try this swoon-worthy Chicken Quesadillas recipe by none other than, Chef Zaira!

What you Need

For Salsa:

  1. Tomatoes 2
  2. Onion 1
  3. Lemon juice 1 Tbsp
  4. Jalapeños 1 1/2 Tbsp
  5. Coriander 1 1/2 Tbsp
  6. Salt (as per taste)
  7. Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  8. Oregano 1/4

For Sour Cream

  1. Heavy cream 1 pack
  2. Lemon juice 2-3 Tbsp

Chicken Filling

  1. Oil 2-3 Tbsp
  2. Chicken 1 Kg
  3. Salt 1 Tsp
  4. White pepper 1 Tsp
  5. Chilli powder 1 Tsp
  6. Paprika 1/2 Tsp
  7. Capsicum 1
  8. Onion 1

Tortilla Filling

  1. Tortilla bread
  2. Cheese (Cheddar/Mozzarella)

Method to make Chicken Quesadillas:

Step 1

For salsa take a bowl, add tomatoes, onions, coriander, jalapeños, and lemon juice season with salt and pepper.

Step 2

For sour cream take heavy cream and mix it with few drops of lemon juice.

Step 3

Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add oil, seasoned chicken with spices, salt, and pepper, and cook it from each side. Stir occasionally for 8 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.

Step 4

Add 1 tortilla bread to the skillet and top half of the tortilla with cooked chicken mixture, salsa, sprinkle with cheese, and then add in your sour cream. Fold the other half of the tortilla over and cook for 3 minutes per side until golden. Repeat to make 4 quesadillas.

Step 5

 

Slice into wedges and serve with sour cream.
