Lifestyle Modification for Better Children’s Health
According to Cleveland Clinic research, children’s health can be improved through a low-fat, plant-based vegan (PBV) diet. It can also help lower their risk of heart diseases.
Michael Mackin conducted a four-week study, comparing children of high cholesterol on two diet-plans: (PBV) diet and AHA diet. Children on (PBV) diet consumed plants, grains, limited nuts but no animal products. They improved in cholesterol, insulin, blood pressure, weight and two markers of heart disease. Dr. Mackins emphasized on lifestyle modification for better health and held his study to make his point.
Food without added fat should be made common for this change to be beneficial.
