Eating healthy all the time can make you feel restricted, bored, and sometimes just too tired of the repetition. This is why there are cheat days. Do not deprive yourself of these. Have them at least once a week and have one meal on this day where you can eat whatever your heart desires.
Snacking is Essential
You must not cut snacking out of your diet. Of course, snacks don’t always have to be unhealthy. But does healthy equate to boring and tasteless? No, it does not. Make a delicious hummus right at home, buy a bag of baby veggies and fruits, and eat up. Or consume a handful of roasted nuts in a pan. No? Buy unsalted kernels and make some popcorn. You can also have a glass of almond or coconut milk if you like. Nut butter with bran bread and fresh fruit is also a great snack option.
Rewards are Motivating
That most certainly does not mean that you reward yourself with food! There are dozens of other things that you can do for yourself that range from a spa date to a new dress or concert tickets to a game show. Just not food or any edible item! One of the best rewards is something that would enhance your figure. A good underwear, swimsuit or even a dress would encourage you to continue to diet and strive for that figure you have dreamed of. You will see the effects of your weight loss efforts and will want to keep trying to get rid of the rest of the pounds.
