The holy month of Ramadan is a blessed month, unlike others. This is the month where shaitan (devils) are chained, Gates of Hell are closed while the Gates of Heaven are opened.
We are all familiar with all the good deeds that we can perform during Ramadan like reciting Quran, offering extra Namaz, but we often forget that there are multiple little things that we can indulge ourselves in to get more rewards.
Below are the ways to maximize our rewards during the Holy month of Ramadan:
Give Charity/Sadqa Every day
Ramadan is a month of giving and according to The Prophet (PBUH), we should all get more generous in this holy month. Giving charity to the poor is not only a virtuous deed but also it can clean half of our faith. You can give charity in a form of money, clothes or food. The more we give the more we will get rewarded in this life and the life hereafter.
Feed poor people
Feeding a poor person is the greatest reward one can attain. There are a lot of people around us who have little to no food during Ramadan and we all should make sure that these people get all the necessities they desperately need. You can also donate money to local NGOs who feed poor people all month long.
Observe Itikaaf
Did you know that observing Itikaaf is a great option for those who cannot afford Umrah or Hajj? Yes, observing Itikaaf in the last 10 days of Ramadan indeed holds immense rewards that one can only earn during Hajj or Umrah also, it is an act of worship that draws believers even closer to Allah.
Let’s dedicate our time to strengthen the bond with Allah and may His infinite mercy and forgiveness be showered upon us! Ameen
