Everything we eat, drink or even breathe is somewhat toxic for our body. We live in a world where pesticides and other chemicals are normally found in several things we consume. It is not only the products that we consume, but what we use also is harmful for our body. The major impact of these products is on the liver. Except for eating organic foods there are also some specific foods that we can eat to make sure that we keep our liver healthy and these foods are also very good at naturally cleansing of the body from any bacteria and junk that is harmful for the organs inside of the body.

1. Beets and Carrots

Carrot is the vegetable that just keeps on revealing new benefits, with helping you improve your eyesight and now this protein also helps in detoxifying your liver. Eating beet does the same. By mixing them both and eating both together will make sure that the liver function is drastically improved.

2. Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain Glutathione which is a great mineral that helps detoxify the liver. An added bonus of eating tomatoes, the lycopene present in the tomatoes will make sure you are protected against breast, skin and lung cancer.

3. Grapefruit

Another food that contains glutathione, a mineral that’s great at cleansing the liver, is present in grapefruit in large quantities. Also filled with Vitamin C and antioxidants, grapefruit helps boost the production of the liver detox enzymes and increases the overall natural process of cleansing the liver.

4. Spinach

Spinach is as good as revealed by Popeye so many years ago, however, eating it raw is also as good as eating it cooked. Spinach also contains the same minerals as tomatoes and carrots. It also helps cleanse the liver and produce the enzymes the help detox the liver.

5. Lemon and Lime

In this heat if we drink lemon juice or even juices with lime in it, we will help our body stay hydrated, full of energy, refreshed and detoxed. Both are high in Vitamin C which helps the liver break down the toxins, so that they are absorbed by the water in the body and they exit the body.

6. Cabbage

Cabbage is essential in making sure our body has the necessary enzymes and the minerals required by the liver to stay healthy and help create the enzymes that help the liver flush out toxins from the body smoothly.

The apples help the liver cleanse out the toxins easily. Apples also help the intestines clear out the toxins which helps relieve pressure from the liver when the cleansing begins in the body.

8. Garlic

It is loaded with sulphur which is the key ingredient in activating the liver enzymes, this helps the liver cleanse the body. Garlic also contains selenium which helps in the cleansing process as well.

9. Green Tea

Green tea is a really good source of antioxidants and aids the liver to clean itself and the body to make sure the body is completely detoxed.
