5 Healthy Drinks That Will Have You Pumped Up For Summer

As you all know, Karachi is getting warmer by the minute and so is the rest of the country. (But NOOO, some of you still believe climate change isn’t real. Right?) Anyway, with what seems like an endless summer right around the corner, it’s imperative to have a menu of refreshing drinks ready well ahead of time. However, a lot of refreshing drinks are not necessarily healthy, which is quite a dilemma. You obviously don’t want your whole health routine going out the window while you’re at it, do you? So let’s hash out a couple of drinks to keep you relaxed all through summer, all the while keeping it healthy.

1. Grapefruit Smoothie

Full of antioxidants, a grapefruit smoothie is a real thirst quencher during summer. Moreover, it also aids in weight loss. So, it’s a win-win. Here’s a simple recipe to go with:

Take one and a half cups of pink grapefruit juice, three to four cups of wild blueberries, half a cup of organic strawberries, one peeled kiwi, one ripe banana and half a cup of ice. Now blend it all together and you’ve got yourself a refreshing drink that’s great on the skin and light on the tummy.

2. Lychee Energy Booster

The pinch of coconut water alongside lychee will infuse the water with electrolytes that will keep you hydrated throughout the day. Here’s a simple recipe to go with but you can always add your own two cents to it as well:
