The trainer explains the importance of food when one works out as hard as Pacquaio. “ Pacquaio`s calories are over the roof’ he says, if he does not eat as much as he works out, he would be wasting muscle and hence be unfit for workout the next day.
Oatmeal is something that keeps the fighters going on such grueling workout schedules, the trainer says. In the afternoon Manny is in for a treat. He is served with beef simmered in sugar, ginger, lemon and vinegar with side dishes such as rice, mango or greens after his workout session at the Wild Card Gym under Freddie Roach`s training.
Good Carbohydrate serves you well

Kate further states that oatmeal is good carbohydrate as post-workout meal as it replaces the lost glycogen quickly. Moreover, oatmeal when served with honey milk serves to a natural anti-oxidant and prevents muscle wasting.
