A Canadian fashion model and public spokesperson of Vitiligo, Winnie Harlow came to the forefront as a contestant on the twenty-first cycle of the US television series America’s Next Top Model. Since then, the model has used several platforms to initiate conversation about her skin condition. In 2011, she took to YouTube and posted a video about how vitiligo is not a life changer. In 2014, Harlow also spoke about it in a TED talk. You go, girl!

She’s a fitness model and an entrepreneur. She is also the spokesperson for UK’s Vitiligo Society. Ninu Galot is so much more than her condition and we’re here for her achievements.

4. Breanne Rice

As a cast member on ABC’s The Bachelor (Season 20), Breanne Rice was insecure. She spent countless hours in the makeup room every day to hide her vitiliginous skin on camera. One day, however, something changed for her. She decided to say goodbye to her fears and posted a bare face picture of herself on Instagram. This image went viral and all of Rice’s insecurities disappeared. We’re living for this kind of motivation!
