Getting Pretty Feet At Home is not As Hard As You Think!

All you really need to do to treat your cracked heels at home is to take out a few minutes from your daily routine to pamper yourself and treat your cracked heels. Following are a few methods of treating dry heels at home.

1. Olive Oil

Wash your feet like you usually do and pat dry them with a towel. Massage your feet with olive oil and leave it on. Wear a pair of socks to bed and then wash your feet in the morning. Repeat this daily till you don’t see or feel cracks anymore.

2. Vaseline

This is probably the easiest way of treating cracked heels. Simply mix 4 to 5 drops of lemon juice in 1 teaspoon of Vaseline. Apply this onto the dry heels once you are done patting your feet dry with a towel after soaking them in hot water. Leave the Vaseline on your heels overnight and wear a pair of socks to bed. This will treat dry heels in two to three days if repeatedly daily.

3. Honey

Honey is a natural moisturizer. Mix a cup of honey in nearly half a bucket filled with warm water. Soak your feet in the water for 20 minutes. This will make your feet soft and treat dry heels.

4. Oatmeal

Make a paste of ground oatmeal and olive oil. Apply this on your feet focusing more towards the cracked heels. Leave the paste on for half an hour and then rinse it off with cold water. Repeat this on every alternate day to treat cracked heels.

5. Sesame Oil

This oil is easily available in any superstore. Massage your cracked heels with sesame oil till it gets absorbed into the skin. This will moisturize your skin and nourish it. Do this once or twice daily to treat cracked heels.

6. Baking Soda

Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda in half a bucket filled with warm water. Make sure the soda is completely dissolved in the water. Soak your feet in this for 15 minutes and then scrub them with pumice stone. Repeat this twice or thrice a week to get rid of cracked heels.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar

Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in 3 to 4 cups of warm water and soak your feet in it for fifteen minutes. Scrub your feet with pumice stone afterwards. Repeat this twice a week to treat cracked heels.

8. Aloe Vera Gel

Soak your feet in warm water for twenty minutes. Pat them dry with a clean towel and then apply Aloe Vera gel generously. Leave it on overnight and then wash your feet in the morning. Repeat this daily to treat cracked heels.

9. Vitamin E Capsules

Vitamin E capsules are easily available in the market. You can take out the oil and add it to your moisturizer and even your shampoo. Take out the oil from 3 to 4 capsules and rub it on your heels. Repeat this daily to treat cracked heels.

10. Banana and Avocado Foot Mask

Take one ripe banana and half, peeled avocado. Make a paste by blending the banana and the avocado. Apply this paste onto the cracked heels. This will moisturize the skin and treat cracked heels. Do this daily for a week.
