A leader for the Sindh AIDS Control Program is yet to be found. One week has elapsed and the position of organizational head is still vacant. Without a leader at the helm, there is a chance that the program will become inactive. For the past 8 months, 11 NGOs have not been given the funds required to carry out their activities. The lack of adequate funds is rendering these NGOs incapable of helping needy patients, forcing them to wind up their operations.
