UNICEF’s polio team met the Commissioner of Karachi, Mr. Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, and expressed its support against Polio and showed commitment to make Karachi Polio free. While informing the details to the UNICEF team, the Commissioner of Karachi has said that the Governor of Sindh and the Chief Minister of Sindh are trying their utmost to eradicate polio. He further said that on a regular basis, different organizations involved in polio eradication campaign are called and their updates are taken whereas advice is also given. This is all done in the hopes of eradicating the disease of polio completely from Pakistan.
