Karachi: New Cases Of Congo And Naegleria Emerge
One female patient succumbed to naegleria, while 2 patients with Congo virus have been admitted for treatment. The spread of naegleria has not been curbed primarily because the concerned authorities have not been able to monitor the levels on chlorine in the water supply. The deceased has been identified as 25 year old Humaira, a resident of Karachi. Since the beginning of the year, 12 naegleria patients have undergone treatment.
