Ikram ul Haq Lahori’s Peace Request Rejected – Death Warrant Released

Faisalabad’s Terrorist Court has rejected the peace request filed by Ikram Ul Haq Lahori and ordered his death sentence. He would be taken to the gallows on 17th January, 2015, at Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore.
Ikram Ul Haq was to be hanged on 8th January 2015. However, probable peace adjustments between the murderer and families had delayed the hanging, as many victims’ families did not appear in court. Therefore, the agreements were cancelled and the new date of hanging was issued.

Lahori was given the death sentence for killing Iranian diplomats Imtiaz Haider (who was also the brother of former interior Minister Moinuddin Haider) and Sadiq Gunji.
