Government Hospitals To Be Supplied With Clean Water

The advisor to the Chief Minister for Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique, has issued directives for clean water to be made available for patients and their caretakers at government hospitals. Plans are underway to ensure that water tankers are cleaned on a routine basis and that the water goes through a process of chlorination. Khawaja Salman Rafigue held a meeting for all medical superintendents at the D.G. Health Office to discuss the strategy for making this plan a reality. He emphasized the need to speed up the process, and was informed that the cleaning of the water tankers and chlorination of water supplies was already underway. In addition he stated that the process of analyzing water samples should also be carried out. The D.G. Health suggested that a record should be maintained for the cleaning of water tankers.
