European Priest Succumbs To Deadly Ebola Virus
The Spanish Roman Catholic priest was working in Liberia’s Saint Joseph hospital where it is suspected that he caught the virus. He was hospitalized and undergoing treatment in Madrid for 5 days. Despite all their efforts the doctors were unable to cure the 75 year old patient. His death marks the first European death from this deadly virus which has struck West Africa with a vengeance. According to the World Health Organization, the death toll of Ebola victims stands at 1013.
