The government of Sindh has announced that the murder cases of doctors would commence in military courts and their families would be given monetary compensation.
As per details, accepting the demands of the doctor unions, the government of Sindh has announced monetary support for families of the killed, jobs for the children in government institutes and the cases to be run in military courts. According to sources, the government has been asked for one crore rupees per family. In the first stage, the government has agreed to help the family in monetary terms. It is requested that all legal family members of the deceased Karachi doctors refer to the office of Pakistan Medical Association Karachi. 17 doctors were killed last year, while 4 have been killed in this year.
