Chairman CDA has directed relevant departments to begin sanitation throughout the capital during Eid holidays. The aim of the plan is to make Eid as clean as possible for the general public. This promote healthy habits among people. In addition, it will also make it easier for them to carry out their basic needs.
Eid Holidays Are Important
Eid is an important time for Pakistanis. It is a time for celebration and simultaneously holds a special place religion-wise. Government’s initiative to promote cleanliness and sanitation during Eid is a positive endeavor that will reap several long term health benefits.
Over 2000 sanitary workers are assigned on duty during Eid holidays. The duties are assigned in three shifts so that the city stays clean and neat.
