Healthy and glowing skin is a gift to us!

healthy & glowing skin

Be comfortable in your own skin and realize that there is more to life than skin color! God has given us different skin tones, each of these tints has its own beauty and hence, the purpose of this act by God, is that we accept one another as we are and appreciate that His creation is beautiful.

The drama of a “gori-bahu” is a never ending act in Pakistan and to top that we have commercials that are a constant reminder of discriminatory embarrassment in our country. We had a good laugh at “Gora hoga Pakistan” by our very own Zubiada Appa (with due respect to her). Like, come on! A 100% gora Pakistan; is that even possible?

And this wasn’t enough… Here we have another campaign on “show your Fair and Lovely ka Jalwa” by Fair & Lovely commercial on TV these day!

Now that’s not only drilling inferiority complex but creating cultural difference of accepting one another as we are. And most of the time, this leaves our younger generation in great confusion that results in lack of self-confidence.

Let’s not go into these skin whitening soaps, night cream that are a blend of five to six creams being sold by girls from salons, bleaching creams etc.  We need to worry more on how to take care of our skin rather than to get into the drama of changing our skin tone. This would not only be temporary but also further damage our skin in the times to come.

Dear women, wake up to reality and appreciate what God has blessed us with. We have attractive skin alright, but the most important question is that are we taking care of our skin?

Keeping our skin healthy and glowing is only possible by using the right kind of products that agree to our skin type. Going to salons every time can be expensive but at the same time caring for our own skin is in our hand. Personally, I am a great fan of natural, simple and inexpensive options that actually work better than most commercial products, and without all the harmful ingredients.

BASIC SKIN CARE ROUTINE

You should have a basic skincare routine in place. Taking care from both the inside and the outside is of great significance!

SKIN CARE FROM WITHIN

1

SKIN CARE FROM THE OUTSIDE

2

NATURAL SKIN-CARE

The weather now is changing to dryness, and at this time, in general, the natural oil cleansing method is a great solution for any skin type, though the combinations of oils vary based on skin type.

OILY SKIN

Swapping to mild and natural skin care routine often goes a long way toward removing excess oil production, but in the meantime, there are some natural ingredients that can help prevent breakouts and remove excess oil.

3

DRY SKIN

If you’ve got dry or aging skin, benefit immediately from natural skin care choices. Often, using natural oils on the skin helps it to balance oil production and stop being dry to begin with.

4

NATURAL ANTI-AGING

Here at this phase you need more care from the inside. There are loads of anti-aging products available but the best selections are the ones you take internally. All of the collagen products that are supposed to firm up your skin don’t take into account that collagen must be produced internally and is too large to absorb through the skin. Supplements for skin care for anti-aging are important.

5

We all take ample care of our facial skin. We cleanse, we tone, we moisturize, we scrub and much more. And we look good doing that. We sometimes look even younger than what we really are. But take a closer look.

SKIN-CARE FOR AGING AREA

There are certain parts of your body that are a clear giveaway of your age. Well, we have nothing against looking your age, but looking a certain way because of negligence and sheer laziness, now that just does not sit well in our books. Here’s a list of body parts to focus on and what to do about it.

6

Skin care is important for all parts of the body, at every age, and only you can make your beautiful skin seem more gorgeous-looking with just a bit of a help from within as well as the outside!

Be simple, follow simple basic skin care regime and stay stylish with glowing skin. Stay beautiful!
